In a meeting with the National Agency for Investments of Kyrgyzstan, Xintai Yanlin Cement expressed interest to build a modern cement production plant in the country. The plant shall have a production capacity about 3200 tpd. During the meeting, potential project sites, investment parameters, cooperation mechanisms and creating new jobs were discussed. A prospective plant location is Kant in Northern Kyrgyzstan, some 20 kilometres east of the capital Bishkek. No timetable for constructing the plant has been given.
