Adani Group-owned Ambuja Cement will expand its clinker and cement capacities by 8 Mta and 14 – 16 Mta, respectively, by FY 2028. The two new clinker manufacturing units would operate on green power or renewable energy and help to increase the production of blended green cements. The ongoing Ametha project in Madhya Pradesh is currently being executed and is scheduled to be commissioned by the second quarter of FY 2023-24. This project will contribute to an addition of the clinker capacity by 3.1 Mta and a cement capacity by 1Mta.
