Cayha Mata Cement (CMC), which is Sarawak’s only cement producer with one kiln line in Mambong and two additional grinding facilities in Kuching and Bintulu, plans to install a 2nd kiln line in Mambong and to optimise the existing facilities. The new kiln shall have a capacity of 6000 tpd and produce 1.9 Mta of cement. CMC has signed agreements with local Sinoma Industry Engineering (TCDRI of Sinoma International) for the feasibility study, design and construction of the plant.
