The China Energy Engineering Group (China Energy) will build a 1 GW solar power plant in Uzbekistan. Now the information has been given that the project will also include a cement plant in the region of Samarkand. The cement plant with a capacity of about 2.0 Mta is already under construction and could be launched by the end of this year.
