In the first 3 months of 2024, China’s cement production declined by a massive -16.3% to 336.8 Mt, after 402.3 Mt in the same period last year. This large decline in the 1.Q 2024 comes after an annual cement production decline by -4.5% last year and -10.9% the year before.
