India. The Adani family infuses about U$ 998m to increase the stake in Ambuja Cements from 66.7% to 70.3%. This latest funds infusion will be instrumental for Ambuja (photo: Marwar Cement Works in Rajasthan) and its subsidiaries ACC Ltd. and Sanghi Industries to accomplish the capacity plan of 140 Mta by 2028. Further, it shall enable various strategic initiatives including debottlenecking CapEx to enhance operational performance, as well as bringing efficiencies across resources and the supply chain. The investment shall also drive innovation and product enhancement through advanced technology integration for better service offerings and to tap the growing requirements of the cement sector.
