Eco Material Technologies (EMT) plans to double their US production of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) by 2030, while harvested /beneficiated ash will cover lost fly ash production from power plants. In the USA, EMT is the nation’s leading zero- and near-zero-carbon supplementary cementitious materials provider (photo). The company’s products can substantially replace Portland cement to achieve a lower-carbon, higher-performance concrete. With the recent $ 2.1 bn acquisition by CRH Inc., EMT has substantially increased their market reach, integrated into the network with Ash Grove Cement and Oldcastle. Anyhow, the company intends to further serve existing customers outside the CRH network, while the range of SCMs is intended to be even increased.
