About a year ago Grupo Cementos Chihuahua (GCC) announced the expansion of the Odessa cement plant in Odessa TX, USA. The plant has been acquired in 2016 from CEMEX and is producing mainly oil-well cement. A new line with about 1.5 Mta capacity shall be installed. H&M Company is the general contractor, TK Polysius is the main supplier of the equipment. The kiln line shall be operational in 2025.
