Terek -Tash LLC will commission its 1.5 Mta cement plant in Kyrgyzstan this year. The project started in 2022 and includes a 4200 tpd kiln line with a clinker capacity of 1.3 Mta of clinker and a separate cement grinding plant with 1.5 Mta capacity, including the use of fly ash from a local power plant. The clinker plant is constructed in the Kemin district of the Chüy region, while the grinding plant is constructed in the Issyk-Ata district of the Chüy region, which is the northern most region of Kyrgyzstan, surrounding capital Bishkek. The project is funded by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund with 45 US$m of the total project costs of 160 US$m and also includes Chinese investors.
