Lucky Cement celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of its 2nd production line in the DR Congo. The new 1.6 Mta capacity line, which will be installed by Sinoma at the existing CIMKO plant, which is a JV between Lucky Cement and the Rawji Group (we reported here 05.12.2025). The new line will increase the cement capacity of the existing plant (photo) to 3.0 Mta to reflect to growing local demand and to reduce cement imports and stabilise prices.
