Holcim announced a strategic acquisition of a majority stake in Cementos Pacasmayo, a leading cement and building materials producer in Peru. It operates 3 cement plants (photo: Conoce la Planta plant) with a capacity of 4.9 Mta, as well as 28 ready-mix and precast concrete plants. Pacasmayo projected a net sales of US$ 630m in 2025 and an EBITDA margin of 28%. Accordingly, the acquisition will strengthen Holcim’s presence and position in Latin America, in line with the company’s NextGen Growth 2030 strategy.
