Lhyfe and Fives, both from France, offer a complete solution for decarbonising industrial combustion processes using green hydrogen. Lhyfe is one of the word pioneers in the production of green and renewable hydrogen, and Fives is a world leader in industrial combustion. In a MoU they agreed to provide a complete decarbonised offer for the metals, glass and cement industries and other selected heating processes and applications. In 2023, Lhyfe inaugurated new sites (photo) for the production of green hydrogen, and currently they have a number of more sites under construction across Europe. The CO2 reduction potential is 210 g of CO2 avoided per kWh, based on the assumption: 5 t/h furnace – 700 kWh/t – 6,000 h/year.
