Dalmia Cement plans to set up a new cement plant in Madhya Pradesh, India, with a capacity of 4.0 Mta. The new plant will require a substantial investment of Rs 3,000 crore, making it the first unit in the country to run on 100% renewable energy. With double digit growth rates, Dalmia is one of the fastest growing cement companies in the country, planning a cement capacity of 75 Mta by FY 2027 (photo: flagship plant Ariyapur, Tamil Nadu).
