At an Investor Summit with India’s PM in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh (UP), Shree Cement announced via its Chairman to expand the cement capacity in UP by 7.0 Mta in the next two years. About Rs 2,000 crore shall be invested for two new cement grinding plants, one within a year with a capacity of 3.5 Mta in Etah, and within 2 years a 2nd 3.5 Mta unit in Prayagraj. Shree Cement already operates a 2.0 Mta grinding unit in Bulandshar, UP, which is equipped with a Gebr. Pfeiffer MVR 6000-C-6 vertical roller mill (photo).
