JSW Cement expanded the grinding capacity at its Nagaur plant in Rajasthan, North India, with an additional grinding unit of 1.0 Mta to a total capacity of 3.5 Mta. We reported here that the new cement plant inn Nagaur (photo) has a clinker production capacity of 3.3 Mta, and has been commissioned in May this year. The plant is designed as a model of sustainable manufacturing and is equipped with a 7 km long overland belt conveyor to transport limestone from the mines and reduce the impact of road transports.
