Morocco’s Ciments du Maroc, a member of the Heidelberg Materials group, announced the finalization of the acquisition of 62.62% of the capital of Asment de Témara, in execution of the agreement signed last September between Heidelberg Materials Holding SARL and Votorantim Cimentos (we reported here). This acquisition also including 99.99% of the assets of aggregates producer Grabemaro was completed on June 30, 2025 at a price of USD 262.4 million, subject to possible adjustment according to contractual conditions. Following this operation, 37.01% of the capital of Asment de Témara remains held by Procimar, a subsidiary of the Heidelberg Materials Group, and a fraction of the capital, representing approximately 0.4%, remains held by various shareholders.
