Dugongo Cimentos will invest US$ 35m in a new grinding unit in Ancuabe in the Cabo Delgado province in Mozambique. The company is a joint venture between Mozambique-based SPI Gestão and China-based West International Holding (WIH) and operates a 2 Mta integrated cement plant with 5000 tpd kiln (photo) in the city of Bellavista, over 60 km south of the capital, Maputo. The new grinding unit is under development and will probably be operational next year.
