Sinoma CBMI celebrated the completion of a modern 1.2 Mta cement grinding unit for Panam Cement in the Dom. Rep. The company is part of Grupo Estrella, which produces cement and concrete and operates in the construction sector in several countries in the Caribbean and Central America. The new cement grinding unit (photo) in the Dom. Rep. comprises a Gebr. Pfeiffer vertical roller mill with a capacity of 155 t/h of mixed cement. The plant integrates advanced, carbon-neutral technologies to reduce the environmental impact of cement production.
