Grupo Gloria has announced a US$ 100m investment to expand its business with a lime plant in Peru, where subsidiary Cal & Cemento Sur operates already a lime plant in the high plateau region. This plant (photo) has five kilns (2 horizontal kilns and 3 new Maerz PFR vertical kilns with a capacity of 500 tons per day each). The new plant shall be installed close to Peru’s capital Lima to expand the supply capacity in the country and to meet the demand in the construction sectors, mining and agribusiness.
