Kaolin Group International (KGI) from the Netherlands, with local partner Middle East Calcined Clay (Me-CC) from Oman, has awarded IPIAC a contact for a LC2/LC3 cement plant. The plant will be equipped with a clay calcining system to be installed on a Plug&Play concept, which has been introduced by IPIAC with the #plug&clay system. All parts and equipment will be installed and assembled in containers, saving 70% of logistic emissions, assembly time, energy and costs. The plant will be the first clay calcining system in the Middle East. Commissioning is expected in 2 years.
