Russia’s CEMROS with initiatives to circulate water

CEMROS Sengiliovskij

Russia’s CEMROS is working on initiatives, which aim to reduce the water consumption by installing circulation systems. For example, the Sengileevsky branch (photo) of the company is working on the implementation of an environmental project to introduce a closed water circulation system. The system shall comprise a collection of rainwater, meltwater, and groundwater, storing it, purifying it, and then returning it to the production cycle. Once completed, the water will be reused within the plant, completely reducing water intake from the reservoir. The project shall be fully implemented by 2030.
