In the first quarter of 2024, Poland’s cement production recovered by +8.4% to 3.338 Mt, after 3.079 Mt in the same period last year. The Yoy recovery in February has been +32.8%, in March it has been 12.3%.
In the first quarter of 2024, Kazakhstan’s cement production declined by -5.6% to 1.733 Mt, after 1.836 Mt in the same period last year. The largest YoY decline has been in March with -13.5%.
In the first quarter of 2024, cement production in Peru declined by -2.9% to 2.611 Mt, after 2.690 Mt in the same period last year. The YoY decline in March has been -2.8%, close to the 1.Q average.
In the first 3 months of 2024, Spain’s cement production declined by -13.0% to 4.019 Mt, after 4.620 Mt in the same period in last year. After an improvement in February, the cement production declined in March by -16.0%, YoY.
