In the first two months of 2024, Estonia’s cement production continued the decline from last year with another -25.0% production to 21 kt, after 28 kt last year and 38 kt in the first 2m 2022.

Estonia’s annual cement production again shrinks
In 2023, Estonia’s cement production again declined significantly by -25.5% to 0.199 Mta, after 0.267 Mta in 2022 and 0.367 Mta in 2021. The cement capacity utilization declined from 29.7% in 2022 to only 22.1% in 2023.
