Turkmenistan’s Baherden Cement started 2nd line

BaherdenCement

Baherden Cement started its second 1.0 Mta cement production line in the Ahal province of Turkmenistan. Turkish Bilim Makina was responsible for the plant installation. The major equipment has been purchased from German suppliers, including KHD Humboldt Wedag for the kiln system and the Aumund Group for belt bucket elevators and other conveying equipment. With line 1, which had been installed in 2005, Baherden Cement will become one of Central Asia’s major cement producers. The new kiln is already the second new line after the Lebab project (we reported 15.03.2024) that started in Turkmenistan this year, underlining the growing market demand.
