UltraTech Cement commissioned its new 2.6 Mta greenfield grinding unit at Rajpura in the Punjab State in India. The plant is one of the phase II projects, announced in June 2022, of 22.6 Mta new capacity projects in India. Alone, 11.6 Mta will be added by 6 new grinding units, of which Rajpura is one of the greenfield examples.
