The first set of wind turbines has been delivered to the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (NGHP) to be installed on the wind garden site near the Gulf of Aqaba. The wind turbines are part of the green energy to produce up to 600 t/h of carbon-free hydrogen. Once the plant is operational in 2026 the hydrogen will be shipped around the world in the form of green ammonia with a volume of up to 1.2 Mta, to customers including the cement industry.
