LATCEM obtained the control of two major Latin American TOP cement players simultaneously, Intercement in Brazil and Loma Negra in Argentina (We reported here 25.07.2025, photo Amali cement plant). The Consortium has been formed by Marcelo Mindlin’s Pampa Energia, alongside Redwood Capital Management and Moneda–Patria Investments and injected US$110M in fresh capital to seal the restructuring of the two cement players. The new ownership includes: LATCEM: 38.7%, Redwood Capital: 26.7%, Moneda–Patria: 24.0%, Cigna Health and Life Insurance: 4.9%. After nearly twenty years under Brazilian control, a majority stake is shifting back to an Argentine-led consortium.
