Votorantim commissioned a new 1.0 Mta grinding mill at its Edealina cement plant (photo) in Goiás in Brazil. The project represents an investment of R$ 200 million (we reported here 18.09.2024), the delivery has been made by Sinoma. Edealina produces Votorantim’s Tocantins cement brand, supplying the entire state of Goiás and part of Mato Grosso. The expansion of the Edealina plant is part of a comprehensive R$ 5 billion investment programme for the period 2024-2028 focusing on growth and structural competitiveness of the domestic operations.
