In Russia in October 2023, the average price for Portland cement stood at about 5935 Rub/t (64.73 US$/t), excl. VAT. However, in the Federal districts the prices are very different. While they were 4692 Rub/t in the North-West district, they were 6691 Rub/t in the Far Eastern district. The prices are about 15% up from last year. Highest increases were for cements with additives. For 2024, the tariffs for natural monopolies such as gas (energy costs) and rail transports (logistics) will increase, which could lead to price increases for cement by up to 30%.
