Kavkazcement JSC, which is part of CEMROS, will upgrade its plant in Karachay-Cherkessia in Northern Ural, Russia, in 2024 by 25% up to 2.5 Mta. The plant is operational since 1974 and has 4 kiln lines. The upgrade will be made from November this year to April next year to reach full capacity in 2024. The upgrade includes the repair, modernisation and major overhaul of equipment such as a furnace and cement mills.
