In Uzbekistan, from January to October this year, the cement production increased by +3.7% to 10.311 Mt. However, in October the cement production declined by -12.0%, YoY, from 1.242 to 1.093 Mt. Data cover the production by large enterprises. It also has to be mentioned that in 2022 in Uzbekistan 14.607 Mta of cement have been produced, this was an increase of +2.9% YoY from 14.20 Mta and with an increase of +2.3% YoY in the cement consumption. In an article by CemBR in January 2023 in the World Cement magazine it was given the information that Uzbekistan had in 2022 one of the worst performances of all cement countries.
