Uzbekistan’s cement industry newcomer JAP (Jizzakh Advantage Plus) is planing a 3300 tpd cement plant at Kutarma in the Jizzakh region of the country. PSP Engineering has been awarded a contract for the basic engineering and design of the project. (photo: existing cement pant in Uzbekistan by DAL Holding). Local general contractor of the project is LLC Qurilish Industriya Xajimli UY-JOY. The project costs for the 1.0 Mta greenfield cement plant including infrastructure have been given with about US$ 185m. JAP has received all necessary permits and licenses. The plant shall be operational by 2028.
