In 2023, Zambia’s cement consumption increased by +10.2% to 2.43 Mta, after 2.20 Mta in 2022, despite 2-digit cement price increases in the last quarter. The per capita consumption (PCC) of cement increased significantly from 110 kg to 118 kg, but is still very low when compared to other countries.
