CEMROS, formally known as Eurocement, the largest cement producer in Russia, plans to relaunch its Ulyanovskcement plant in spring next year. The plant is equipped with 4 wet kiln lines and has a nominal cement capacity of 2.467 Mta, but has been closed for several reasons. Due to the more than 2-digit rise of the cement demand in the Ulyanovsk region, which is about 150km south of Kazan at the Volga river federal district, CEMROS decided to upgrade and reopen two kiln lines in 2 phases. With the plant upgrade also latest filter and environmental technology will be installed.
