Italy’s Buzzi has finalised the acquisition of the remaining 50% stake in Companhia Nacional de Cimentos (CNC) in Brazil from Brennand Cimentos. The original structure of Cimento Nacional consists of two modern and efficient cement plants, one located in the state of Paraiba (Pitimbu) and the other one in Minas Gerais (Sete Lagoas). With the aquisition of three full-cycle cement plants and two grinding units from CRH Group in April 2021, CNC owns 5 full-cycle cement plants and 2 grinding units with a total production capacity of over 7.2 Mta.
