In the first 5 months of 2024, Estonia’s cement production declined to 65 kt. This is still a minus by -8.5 when compared to the same period last year, but a much smaller decline than in the previous year.

In 2023, Estonia’s cement production again declined significantly by -25.5% to 0.199 Mta, after 0.267 Mta in 2022 and 0.367 Mta in 2021. The cement capacity utilization declined from 29.7% in 2022 to only 22.1% in 2023.
